Dear Hammond organ friends,
Does it Bother You that Your Organ Sound Muted or Muffled??
Are you always pulling all the drawbars out to get some sound just to realize that your organ still sound really dark, mellow, flat, lifeless and boring? Do you have notes that sound really weak in comparison with their adjacent notes?
If you do you've probably experienced some of these other problems:
1- You are using the exact same drawbar settings as you've seen on other organs but it just doesn't sound the same at all, when you try the same setting on your own organ.
Or...
2- The tone control on your Hammond preamplifier is set to maximum full brightness but still, your Hammond is lifeless.
Or...
3- It seems that your organ doesn't sound as full and rich in treble in comparison with the ones heard on records/live television shows.
Or...
4- Are you always playing with the vibrato chorus in mixture with the Leslie, to get the maximum amount of brightness? But still, you feel like the organ doesn't 'cut' enough and sounds a bit dull and boring?
Or...
5- Or maybe you took off the top back Leslie wood panel section to get a more open horn sound, so that you can get better definition and more high-end response?
Or...
6- You have the feeling that the treble horn driver is lifeless or not loud and bright enough?
Or...
7- You are probably playing in a band and you have the feeling that your Leslie sound is too dark and doesn't cut enough through the rest of the band.
Or...
8- When you pull out some drawbars you can hear some annoying HUM in the background that you would like out of the picture.
Or...
9- On your favourite records it always sounds like the organ has more excitement in its tone because it screams and cuts way more than yours?
Some Hammond's today are so muted and lifeless that they sound exactly like the Leslie was wrapped in a carpet!
But don't just take my word for it, just ask the hundreds of people I have taught how much better their Hammonds and Leslie sound now!
My 16 Years of Experience with Leslies Yours Risk-Free!
I own a Hammond B-3 and a Leslie 122 since 1997, but started to work on Hammond organs and Leslies around 1994. I am a published author of the title called: "Hammond B-3 and Leslie 122/147 Easy Improvement & Restoration Tips For NON-Technicians".
In 2010 I have published another book for the M-series Spinets called: "Hammond M-3 and Leslie 122/147 Easy Improvement & Restoration Tips For NON-Technicians"
Since 2007 I have helped many hundreds of people around the world in their restoration project thru my different publications.

I Have Realized The "Secret" was NOT in the Drawbar Settings...
I remember playing that late 1950's B-3 wondering why this organ didn't have the full Hammond sound heard on my favourite classic records... I was pulling out the same drawbars as my favourites organists but this Hammond was FAR from sounding the same!
I knew the secret was not in the drawbars because this B3 didn't have any punch at all.
Something had to be wrong within the organ itself because I had the same settings and it sounded totally different!...
"With all the step-by-step instructions
and all the color pictures that come with the tone generator kit your job will become extremely easy...
... WITHOUT the need of paying a dime in service charges to a technician!
But that's not all...
The Best Sounding Tone Generator Capacitor Kit On
The Market... Period!
Not only does this kit comes with a
full-color printable e-manual but we believe that this kit is the best one being offered because
we use closer tolerance components.
You see most kits out there
just use standard values on some of the tone generator notes and this
decrease the volume of some frequencies within the tone generator.
Now let me proove this to you with the help of a graphic...
Standard
Kit
Now let's look at the output level of our kit for these frequencies on the graph
below:
Our custom designed kit

As you can see our kit provide you with a better output because we match the values with the ones that Hammond used when they first manufactured the tone generators.
Using standard values is
certainly NOT the way to go if you consider getting the best sound out of
your Hammond.
-
When this happen the fundamental drawbar 8' will be weaker than the fifth drawbar 5 1/3' which means the later will be
perceived as being too loud in comparison with the volume level of the fundamental
drawbar.
- The second problem comes to the fact that the sub-fundamental 16' drawbar will be too weak in the last octave creating a thin and shrill sounding organ due to the low 16' drawbar
volume.
Our Component Selection Method For The Best Hammond Sound Possible...
We go the extra miles
with our kit building and we take pride in offering you the best of the best. In fact, we have to buy HUGE
quantities of components, then we have to go through each and every
one to measure them and see if they pass our tolerance test. If they don't, they are simply rejected!
We pick the best ones and then we start assembling our kits. It takes hours and hours
of labor in component testing and matching but in the end, we know that each kit will provide
you with the best sound your Hammond as ever produced!
Here is a List of the Benefits this Kit Will Provide for You...
Save
hundreds of dollars on service charges from a technician. --

You will feel a lot more comfortable when you can refer to a manual that is loaded with pictures and
it will provide you with a worry-free installation. All you will have to do will be to
follow each simple step and look at ALL the pictures, that's all!

Like we explained earlier with the graphics our kit will provide you with more consistency without the "valley" in the tone generator curve, for an optimal tonewheel generator performance and sound. We spend hours matching our kits to offer you the best of the best!
Your tone generator filter capacitor kit will provide with more brightness clarity, definition, consistency, volume and overall richness sound.
The addition of this circuit will have the benefit of removing extra hum produced by the generator especially when the first brown drawbar is used. This means that you will get a cleaner sounding Hammond without that painful hum that was present before! If you don't want to upgrade your Hammond with the R/C network hum filter then walk away with our basic TG kit and that's it!
If you are serious about your Hammond sound and you want an easier kit to install then this kit is your ticket!
